ER Nurse nights

Mission Community Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate ER Nurse to join our night shift team in Panorama City, CA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in emergency nursing and a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for emergencies and acute conditions during night shifts.


• Assess, triage, and monitor patients to determine severity and priorities for treatment.


• Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.


• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patient responses.


• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.


• Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations.


• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of emergency nursing experience.


• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.


• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications.


• Ability to work night shifts and handle high-stress situations effectively.


• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
