Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level I Trauma Center

Join our dynamic Emergency Department team as a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) in our state-of-the-art Level I Trauma Center. We're seeking an experienced, compassionate healthcare professional ready to deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Position Overview

As an ER RN, you'll be at the forefront of emergency medicine, providing critical care to patients with conditions ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening emergencies. You'll work alongside a supportive, highly skilled medical team dedicated to delivering excellence in emergency healthcare.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessment and triage across all age groups and acuity levels
• Execute emergency interventions and life-saving procedures
• Manage multiple high-acuity patients simultaneously
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Document patient care using electronic medical records (EMR)
• Provide detailed discharge instructions and coordinate follow-up care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Current Florida RN license or multi-state license eligibility
• Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience (ED, ICU, or PCU)
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher
• BLS certification (or obtained within 30 days)
• ACLS certification (or obtained within 90 days)
• PALS certification (or obtained within 90 days)
• ENPC certification (or obtained within 6 months)
• Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Paramedic experience
• CEN certification
• Trauma nursing experience
