Senior Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) - Level II Trauma Center

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead emergency patient care delivery through expert triage, assessment, and treatment for diverse patient populations
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for critical and acute care patients
• Manage multiple high-acuity cases simultaneously while maintaining exceptional quality standards
• Coordinate seamlessly with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, specialists, and support staff
• Provide comprehensive discharge planning and patient education
• Mentor junior staff while promoting evidence-based practice and patient safety initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Current Florida RN license or multi-state compact license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care ER nursing experience
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma (BSN preferred)
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to obtain ACLS, PALS, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certifications within 90 days
• Strong clinical decision-making and critical thinking skills
• Excellence in multi-tasking and performing under pressure
