What You'll Do
Lead daily retail operations to achieve sales, production, and customer service goals
Coach, train, and develop team members for success
Assist with hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management
Motivate employees while fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture
Maintain merchandising, inventory, pricing, and store presentation standards
Monitor financial performance and support budget and operational goals
Promote donation growth and support local marketing initiatives
Ensure a safe, clean, and organized shopping and work environment
Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards
Partner with Mission Services to support employee and participant development
Assist with evaluating participant job performance and promoting workplace success
Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
5+ years of retail experience
1+ year of supervisory or management experience
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Intermediate computer and digital skills
Ability to motivate others and drive results in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to Goodwill's mission, culture, and continuous improvement
Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Education
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred
Work Environment
Retail environment with climate-controlled conditions
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Occasional exposure to dust, lint, donated goods, and outdoor weather conditions
Fast-paced environment with changing priorities and occasional short deadlines
Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
