Job Description - ERP Analyst - Finance

REPORTING TO:         ERP Supervisor

LOCATION:                  Remote

ITAR/EAR CRITERIA:

These positions may require lawful access to ITAR/EAR controlled information and employees in this role will need to meet those requirements.  Requirements include US Citizenship or US Permanent Resident.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Provide hands-on application expertise for JD Edwards in support of ERP projects and user issue resolution. Position is responsible for supporting all JDE modules with primary focus on functional areas for Finance. Activities include business process improvement projects, system implementations, upgrades, ongoing end-user support, and support for third-party bolt-on packages. Work at the direction of ERP management to improve business processes through optimal use of JDE.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to address business or systems issues; coordinate integration, and acceptance testing of enhancements.
  • Develop new functional and business requirements for process enhancements, including providing technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing system options, specifications, and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
  • Provide production support to users
  • Provide end user training on JDE and bolt-on applications
  • Develop and maintain end user training documentation
  • Assist in development of reports required by users and perform data analysis as needed.
  • Support the configuration, testing, and deployment of 3rd party applications
  • Provide regular updates project status and issue resolution and other metrics
  • Work with business process owners to improve business process flows.
  • Train new users of JDE and/or report writing tools as needed.
  • Assist in developing, promoting and implementation of best practices, standards and controls
  • Provide support for JDE controls and segregation of duties to meet SOX requirements.
  • Identify and diagnose problems affecting system integrity and data accuracy, conduct routine testing and analysis.
  • Provide support for data integration requirements for enterprise level systems such as Hyperion Financial, data warehouse, TRAX compliance, bar coding, Vertex, Smarter Commerce and other enterprise level applications.
  • Stay current with all application issues, software defects or shortcomings through Oracle Knowledge Base site and other published materials

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related fields
  • Relevant and hands-on experience as a JDE implementation consultant or in-house analyst
  • 3+ years in depth functional knowledge of the JDE Finance module (working knowledge of the Distribution module is a plus)
  • Project management experience as a single contributor and leading small projects
  • Proven track record of driving change and implementing best practices
  • Ability to initiate change
  • Ability to learn new 3rd party packages
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Proficient working knowledge using MS Excel formulas and pivot tables for data analysis
  • Ability to travel as required. Generally less than 50% but there may be periods with more
  • JDE development skills are a plus but not

Target Compensation: $120,000-132,000 range

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $99,800.00 - $149,600.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
