Job Description - ERP Architect (Enterprise Resource Planning)

The ERP Architect focuses on the ERP solution implementation initiative at Wellpath. This role will work closely with the Finance department to plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the design, development, and deployment of the ERP solution (MS Dynamics). Be the technical visionary and leader for ongoing and future ERP initiatives. The primary focus of this role will be to optimize the finance systems first.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, or a related field.
Experience
7-10 years of experience in ERP implementation, including hands-on experience with at least one major ERP platform (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle).
Proven track record in managing complex ERP projects and leading technical teams.
Familiarity with various business processes and how they integrate with ERP systems.
Extensive experience with financial systems and processes.
Proven track record in designing and implementing financial systems in complex organizations.
Experience with financial reporting, compliance, and risk management.

KEY Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Finance and other key business and IT stakeholders to plan and prioritize work.
Working with the Finance department, perform a detailed assessment of Wellpath’s Financial Systems and workflow processes and produce a current state assessment and recommendation for the future state.
Develop a deep understanding of the business processes and requirements.
Design an ERP system architecture that aligns with the organization’s strategic goals.
Responsible for providing technical leadership focused on complex ERP projects.
Ensure the ERP system integrates smoothly with other systems and data sources.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the ERP system.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the system meets business needs.
Manage day to day development tasks providing weekly status report updates.
Finance Focused - Analyze and understand the financial process needs of the organization.
Finance Focused – Design

system architecture that integrates various financial functions such as accounting, budgeting, procurement, and reporting.
Provide direction on the use of industry best practices as appropriate
This role will conduct discovery, requirements gathering, process documentation, configuration, and implementation management of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES :
Strong technical ability in the ERP domain.
Must be able to apply principles of critical thinking to a variety of practical and emergent situations and accurately follow standardized procedures that may call for deviations.
Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations.
Must be alert at all times; pay close attention to details.
Must be able to work under stress on a regular or continuous basis.

LEADERSHIP ABILITIES:
Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
