ERP Business Professional

Position Summary:

Steel Warehouse is hiring a Business Associate to join the ERP team supporting the Invera Invex ERP rollout across Steel Warehouse and Lock Joint Tube manufacturing sites. The associate will work alongside senior Business Analysts, Global Process Owners, and module leads driving new sites live, gaining hands-on exposure across every Invex functional area (Sales, Production, Materials, Purchasing, Quality, Logistics) through the full go-live lifecycle. This role is the entry point onto the Steel Warehouse ERP career ladder.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

· Work alongside Business Analysts and module leads on project-based implementation work driving new sites live.

· Assist with configuration testing, data validation, user acceptance testing, and training material preparation for upcoming go-lives.

· Shadow Global Process Owners during process discovery, requirements gathering, and future-state design sessions.

· Support end-user training delivery and post-training reinforcement during site cutovers.

· Provide on-site and off-hours coverage during scheduled go-live cutovers and the hypercare period that follows as needed.

· Contribute to internal documentation, implementation runbooks, and knowledge-base articles produced by the Implementation team.

· Support handoff of newly live sites to the Operations team, including transition of site-specific configuration knowledge and open items.

· Progressively take ownership of scoped implementation work items as competency is demonstrated.

Growth Path:

This role is the entry point to the Steel Warehouse ERP career ladder. Associates who demonstrate competency progress into an ERP Functional Analyst role on the Implementation team, following a defined three-level ladder (Analyst, Senior Analyst, Team Lead) with possible access to a separate lateral tracks over time.

Required Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

· Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable working with both plant-floor users and corporate stakeholders.

· Working proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint).

· Willingness to travel 25% to 35% to manufacturing sites during implementation and go-live phases.

· Availability for nights and weekends as required by the business, particularly during site cutovers and hypercare.

Preferred Qualifications

· Direct exposure to Invera Invex ERP, either through prior work, internship, or coursework.

· Familiarity with the steel service center, tube manufacturing, or metals processing industry.

· Working knowledge of one or more ERP modules (Sales, Production, Materials, Purchasing, Quality, Logistics).

· Exposure to any ERP platform (SAP, Oracle, Plex, Microsoft D365, JD Edwards, NetSuite, Infor).

· Basic SQL, AI tools, or Power BI experience.

· Familiarity with ticketing systems (Jira) and enterprise collaboration tools.

· Prior internship, co-op, or entry-level experience in IT, manufacturing operations, supply chain, or a business analyst function.
