Job Description - Escrow Assistant



Patten Title Company is a well-established title company with offices in Austin and Houston. We are currently looking for an Escrow Assistant with a minimum of 1 to 3 years of title company experience.



  • Assisting with the Escrow Closing team to ensure successful transactions.

  • Some collaboration with the title department to resolve title issues.

  • Coordinate with buyer, lender, seller and/or broker to timely collect items and/or information needed to process files and/or cure title issues for a successful closing.

  • Ensure all payoffs, taxes, and HOA are ordered, updated and collected

  • Address inquiries from clients, sellers, buyers, agents, and Asset Management Companies professionally and promptly.

  • Confirm closing dates, location, and documentation needed for closing with borrowers.

  • Attend and participate in weekly team meetings.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned.





Requirements



  • 1-3 years of title company experience

  • Great knowledge base regarding resale, refinance and investor business

  • Full time physical attendance is an essential function in the job•Strong customer service orientation

  • Detail oriented

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Problem solving skills

  • Strong organizational skills
