Escrow Coordinator

The Title Closing Coordinator is responsible for the preparation of closing figures and fundings for purchase and refinance real estate closings.

Essential Duties

• Responsible for entering closing figures and balancing files in ResWare Software.
• Prepares miscellaneous documents required at closing.
• Reviews mortgage payoff statements.
• Acts as the liaison between attorneys and lenders prior to closing.
• Assists the closing officer with various tasks.

• 1-2 years previous title company experience and/or bachelors’ degree or established business background required.
• Excellent mathematical skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Excellent organizational skills (attention to detail)
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work with confidential information and data
• Knowledge of office equipment (computers, fax machines, printers, telephone systems and calculators)
• Knowledge of basic title exceptions and/or clearance requirements
