Summary:

The Estate Crew 2 position is an integral part of the grounds team working under the supervision of the Special Projects Supervisor. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about the Mission of Greenacres and our values. They are responsible for completing landscape maintenance jobs, work order requests, repair and carpentry projects particularly with the highest quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Understands all aspects of the facilities department: day to day, seasonally, and yearly.
• Utilize area of expertise for the maintenance and upkeep of equipment and facilities.
• Complete maintenance checklist/ordering as assigned.
• Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as trucks, utility vehicles, mowers and trimmers.
• Advanced use of tractors and skid steer with ability to use various implements.
• Provide proper upkeep of trees, shrubs and gardens which can include trimming, planting and weeding.
• Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, pruning saws, hedge or brush trimmers or axes.
• Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fences and other ground features.
• Seasonally maintain grounds around facilities to include the removal of brush, tree limbs, leaves and snow.
• Provide support services for foundation events, including facilities support and oversight in: set up, clean up, parking attendant.
• Provide support services to other departments for the advancement of the mission.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Painting
• Fence building and repair
• Carpentry and woodworking projects

• 4-6 years’ experience performing landscaping and general maintenance.
• Knowledgeable in the use of a variety of hand and power tools used in facility maintenance.
• Able to troubleshoot issues as they arise during the completion of duties.
• Able to work effectively with individuals of differing knowledge and background.
• Highly motivated and self-driven individual with attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize with minimal supervision and multi-task.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, BCI/FBI background check and physical as required.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Polite and courteous with a “how can I help” attitude.
• Ability to travel to all Greenacres locations regularly. Currently this includes Indian Hill, OH, Miami Township Clermont County, OH, Lewis Township, OH and Oldenburg, IN.
