Pay: $145,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year

Location:Seattle, WA. Hybrid opportunity with up to two remote workdays per week after successfully completing the initial 90-day onsite onboarding period.

Note:Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Washington and have at least 2 years of estate planning and probate law experience.

Job Description

  • Draft and review wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents.
  • Manage probate and trust administration matters from beginning to resolution.
  • Advise clients on estate planning strategies, wealth transfer, and tax considerations.
  • Prepare and review estate, gift, and related tax filings.
  • Draft sophisticated trust documents, including irrevocable and tax-focused planning vehicles.
  • Conduct legal research and provide practical solutions to complex trusts and estates matters.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, beneficiaries, fiduciaries, and other professionals.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and support staff to deliver exceptional client service.

Qualifications

  • Active Washington Bar license.
  • 2+ years of estate planning and probate law experience.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple matters while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset with strong organizational skills.
  • LL.M. in Tax is a plus.
  • Additional years of trusts and estates experience are welcomed.

  • 2 to 4 years: $145,000 to $155,000

  • 5 to 7 years: $155,000 to $165,000

  • 8+ years: $165,000 to $175,000+

  • Additional compensation includes discretionary bonuses and profit sharing.
