Job Description - Estate Planning Attorney

Our passionate law firm is looking for an experienced attorney who is ready to help our firm grow. The right fit will provide comprehensive legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their estate planning and/or elder law needs. You will work closely with clients to develop personalized estate plans that meet their objectives and ensure their assets are protected and distributed according to their wishes. If you can lead the way with excellent research and writing skills, easily use today’s technology, and communicate effectively across all levels, we would love to connect! 
Responsibilities

  • Draft a variety of legal documents, including wills, trusts, and ancillary documents, utilizing firm templates and designated software
  • Work with clients to review legal documents and offer comprehensive feedback and analysis to ensure the effectiveness of their estate plans
  • Work to make client satisfaction a top priority, finding a quick resolution to client complaints and concerns
  • Represent the firm in the community by participating on boards, committees, and other community groups, when appropriate
  • Collaborate and verify the accuracy and completeness of legal documents drafted by staff
  • Work efficiently and make recommendations to improve processes and be well organized to ensure clients’ files move smoothly through the office
  • Conduct review meetings with clients to ensure their estate planning documents align with their initial goals and objectives.
  • Oversee paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years experience in Estate Planning or Elder Law focused firm environment. 
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited school of law with a current license to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Decision-making, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a must
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite is necessary
