Pay: $120,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Location:

Valrico, Florida. This is a primarily on-site opportunity designed for an attorney who values close collaboration with clients and an experienced legal team. Limited remote flexibility may become available over time, but the position will remain primarily office based.

Note:

Candidates must have 3+ years of direct experience handling both estate planning and probate matters, including independently advising clients, serving as the primary attorney on files, and directing and finalizing legal documents.

Job Description

  • Independently manage estate planning matters from initial consultation through completion.
  • Advise clients regarding wills, trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives, and related estate planning strategies.
  • Handle probate and estate administration matters as the primary attorney responsible for the file.
  • Meet directly with clients and provide clear, practical guidance throughout sensitive estate and probate matters.
  • Direct, review, revise, and finalize estate planning and probate documents prepared with support from experienced staff.
  • Coordinate with legal staff to keep matters organized, responsive, and moving efficiently.
  • Develop strong client relationships and contribute to referral and business development efforts.
  • Work collaboratively with attorneys across related legal practice areas when client needs overlap.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of directly relevant estate planning and probate experience.
  • Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar.
  • Experience independently advising and representing estate planning and probate clients.
  • Experience serving as the primary attorney responsible for client matters.
  • Strong estate planning and probate drafting, review, and document finalization skills.
  • Excellent client communication, judgment, organization, and follow through.
  • Transferable book of business or established referral relationships preferred, but not required.
  • Candidates from solo practice backgrounds are welcome if their experience aligns with the role.

  • Salary Bands (Only if attorney role): 3 to 4 years: $120,000 to $140,000; 
  • 5 to 7 years: $140,000 to $160,000; 8+ years: 
  • $160,000 to $180,000
