Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Location: Dayton, Ohio. This is a full-time, on-site position Monday through Friday, ideal for an attorney who enjoys close collaboration with clients and colleagues.

Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Ohio, or able to become licensed promptly, and have at least 2+ years of directly relevant estate planning and/or elder law experience.

  • Meet with firm-provided prospective clients to understand their goals, explain options, and recommend appropriate estate planning strategies.
  • Counsel existing clients on reviewing, updating, and strengthening their estate plans as circumstances change.
  • Design customized estate plans with particular attention to the needs of seniors and their families.
  • Draft and oversee wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning and elder law documents.
  • Lead client consultations, document signings, and final plan delivery meetings.
  • Explain complex legal concepts clearly and practically so clients understand their plans and next steps.
  • Maintain accurate, organized client files and ensure consistency across legal documents and records.
  • Collaborate with our team to deliver an outstanding client experience from initial consultation through completion.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Active Ohio Bar license or ability to become licensed promptly.
  • 2+ years of estate planning and/or elder law experience.
  • Strong estate planning drafting and legal writing skills.
  • Confidence leading client consultations and meetings.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Experience serving seniors and their families is preferred.
  • Ability to explain sophisticated legal concepts in approachable, plain language.
