We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Estate/Trust Administration Attorney to join our team and lead the management of our Estate and Trust Administration practice in Hendersonville and Asheville. As an integral part of our firm, you will be responsible for delivering excellent legal services and ensuring the seamless operation of our Estate Settlement Program.
Essential Job Functions/Core Duties:
- Strong management skills are necessary to lead the Estate and Trust Administration practice in Hendersonville and Asheville; the attorney will be responsible for overseeing and managing a skilled support staff of four members.
- Familiarity with and ownership over our Estate Settlement Program and its integration with LegalBoards and Clio, with responsibility for managing its implementation and ongoing administration.
- Conduct client meetings for each session of our Estate Settlement Program.
- Thoroughly review and analyze estate planning documents, including trusts, wills, powers of attorney, financial statements, beneficiary forms, and related materials.
- Demonstrate reliability, maintain strict confidentiality, and consistently meet deadlines.

Requirements
Education & Experience Qualifications and Preferences:
- Hold a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Possess a minimum of 4 years of experience as an estate/trust administration attorney.

- Exhibit a positive attitude and proactive personality, fostering excellent interpersonal skills and maintaining professionalism when dealing with clients, attorneys, staff, and other professionals.
- Showcase strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with impeccable spelling and grammar.
- Display a friendly and professional telephone demeanor.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, maintaining a high level of organization, and the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, handle multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess above-average computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Must be able to quickly learn and proficiently operate the firm's other software applications (CLIO, Adobe Acrobat, Netdocuments, etc.).
- Exhibit the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, effectively problem-solving and finding solutions.
- Show an aptitude for following established processes/systems while also identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements.
