Estimating Engineer

Description

This position involves the planning of processes for the cost-effective manufacture of specialty alloy metal parts in our centrifugal casting, job-shop environment. This involves a detailed review of customer and industry specifications; a detailed review of drawings; as well as identification and assessment of the risk potential of each opportunity. 

Requirements

• A degree in business, engineering, or materials technology and/or experience in the metals manufacturing industry are preferred. Excellent communication and computer skills
• Project management experience and strong technical aptitude are required. 
• Actual estimating experience in a foundry, machining, or other metals manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
