Responsibilities

• Reviewing construction specifications and plans
• Understanding scope requirements based on project documents and customer communication
• Completing digital takeoffs ensuring all spec and plan details have been captured
• Preparing customer proposals incorporating project details
• First line of contract negotiations
• Proficiency in single ply membranes, standing seam metal and shingles
• Proficiency in metal wall panels is a plus
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required
• Travel required to Central Texas

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Estimator for Commercial Roofing
• Experience in customer service will be appreciated
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
• Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of spreadsheet applications
• Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• 5 years in estimating
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Strong work ethic
