Estimator

We are looking for an experienced Estimator who estimate product costs & create written item descriptions/qualifications by evaluating bid specifications, blueprints, and related documents. Qualifications & Skills

• BA or BS or an equivalent combination of experience or training (preferred).


• 2+ years of estimating experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred). 


• Strong personal computer and business solutions software skills; experience with NetSuite & Bluebeam is preferred.  PC use is required for this position.   
  Experience performing digital takeoffs.  Completing takeoffs in Bluebeam is a plus.  
  Strong, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.


• Familiar with reading and analyzing blueprints or construction plans.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills working with support personnel and management.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Responsible for the accuracy of estimates regarding dimensions, design, functionality, feasibility to manufacture, development, pricing, and margin.


• Work accurately and efficiently under minimal supervision.


• Develop clear and concise item descriptions and qualifications for proposals, ensuring accuracy and understanding among internal teams and clients.


• Produce accurate and detailed takeoffs.


• Collaborate with other departments, such as operations, project management, supply chain, CAD, and design development, for their input of methods and materials to ensure buildability and cost accuracy. 


• Identify and collaborate with sales account executives on estimating strategy.


• Regular, timely, and predictable on-site attendance is required for this position. 


• Maintain positive working relationships. 


• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. 

Schedule & Pay

• Full-Time: Mondays through Fridays, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.


• This position is in-office, remote work is not available. 


• Hours may vary slightly depending on business needs and demands.
  


• Salary is competitive and comparable to industry standards.
