What You'll Be Doing

• Estimate and proposal creation


• Proposal tracking and customer follow-up


• Project and job cost setups (project handoff – precon to construction)


• Contract negotiations and redlining


• Establish project schedule baselines


• Onboarding projects, folder and file setups


• Subcontractor and vendor solicitation


• Linear takeoffs


• Earthwork volume takeoffs


• Sales & business development for potential new projects


• Professional communication with general contractors, owners and municipality representatives


• Cooperate and communicate with others in a team environment.

What You Offer

• Minimum 2 years of estimating experience (heavy civil) in a construction environment.


• Minimum 2 years of college, preferably in a construction related field.


• Experience in heavy civil construction related projects.


• Experience with HCSS HeavyBid, Building Connected, Bluebeam, Planswift, Microsoft Suite, and Agtek is preferred.


• Open to learn other software applications.


• Ability to read plans.


• A team player who works well with others or independently.


• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.


• Must be self-motivated, calm under pressure, and consistently able to meet deadlines.


• Organized with the ability to multi-task.


• Positive attitude.
