We are seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our fencing team in Colonie, New York. This full-time role offers a competitive salary range of $75,000–$110,000 and focuses on preparing accurate takeoffs, pricing, and bids for both commercial and residential fencing projects. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, construction estimating experience, and the ability to coordinate seamlessly with sales and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed estimates and material takeoffs for commercial and residential fencing projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and site conditions to develop accurate pricing.
• Price materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted work for bid preparation.
• Support proposal development, revisions, and submission processes.
• Collaborate with sales, project management, and field teams to ensure smooth bid handoff.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates and project-related documentation.

• Experience estimating construction or fencing projects preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Strong attention to detail and cost-analysis skills.
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent professional communication and organizational skills.
