We are looking for a meticulous Estimator to join our fencing team in Guilderland, NY. This full-time position emphasizes precise takeoffs, accurate pricing, and competitive bid preparation for both commercial and residential fencing projects. The right candidate will have proven construction estimating experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with sales and project management teams throughout the bidding process.

In this role based in Guilderland, you will be a key contributor to project planning and bid success, ensuring all estimates are thorough, accurate, and delivered on schedule. Candidates should have experience with construction or fencing estimates and be capable of managing multiple bids and deadlines efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive estimates and material takeoffs for commercial and residential fencing projects in Guilderland.
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and site conditions to generate accurate pricing.
• Calculate costs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor work for bid preparation.
• Assist with proposal development, revisions, and submission.
• Coordinate closely with sales, project management, and field teams to ensure smooth bid handoff.
• Maintain organized records of estimates and related project documentation.
• Monitor multiple bids and deadlines, ensuring timely delivery.
• Apply strong attention to detail and cost-analysis skills to all estimates.
