Estimator

Job Description:

The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects. The Estimator will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure that all estimates are comprehensive and competitive.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate cost estimates


• Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure comprehensive and competitive estimates


• Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and completeness


• Prepare and submit bids and proposals to clients


• Track and analyze project costs to ensure profitability


• Communicate with clients, project managers, and subcontractors to resolve any issues or concerns related to cost estimates


• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all estimates and bids

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field


• Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction estimating


• Strong analytical and mathematical skills


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction estimating software


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Detail-oriented and organized
