At Wisenbaker Builder Services, Estimators play a critical role in setting projects up for success before a single product is ordered or installed. We’re looking for an Estimator who can analyze plans, interpret specifications, and collaborate across Sales, Design, and Operations to deliver accurate, timely estimates in a fast-paced production and custom-building environment.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on detail, understands how pricing and design impact execution, and takes pride in producing work that downstream teams can trust.
Your Mission:
As our Estimator, you will prepare accurate and timely estimates by reviewing plans and specifications, validating quantities, and coordinating closely with internal partners to support successful project execution.
What You’ll Be Doing (and Absolutely Crushing It):

• Prepare detailed plan estimates accurately and within required timelines.
• Review architectural plans and specifications to determine material quantities and layouts.
• Manage and validate data pulled from VEO estimating software.
• Communicate estimate status, questions, and issues with team leaders and supervisors.
• Maintain clear, organized records and notes for all completed estimate requests.
• Validate customer updates in coordination with Account Managers and Implementation teams.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Design Centers, Inside Operations, and Field Operations.
• Understand how Pricing, Design, and Data Specialist roles impact estimating accuracy and flow.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong math skills including geometry, fractions, and percentages.
• Proficiency with computers and estimating-related software.
• Experience reading blueprints and architectural drawings preferred.
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and occasional weekends.
• Ability to learn and navigate VEO Estimating Software and perform manual estimating calculations.
