Estimator

The Estimator is responsible for analyzing customer specifications, structural drawings, proposals, and production requirements to prepare accurate labor, material, time and cost estimates for labels, literature, and folding carton products supporting multiple pharmaceutical packaging manufacturing facilities. This position may be located in any of the US sites: Indianapolis, IN, Clayton, NC, Greensboro, NC or Charlotte, NC. 

Your Role

• You will evaluate manufacturing methods to determine the most cost-effective approach 

• You will develop quotations and bid proposals

• You will analyze specifications, drawings, proposals and customer requirements

• You will support cross-functional projects involving sales, operations, procurement and manufacturing

• You will recommend process improvements and cost-saving opportunities

• You will prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and production time

Your Profile

• You have a high school diploma - college degree preffered

• You have already gained 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• You have the ability to read and interpret structural drawings and customer specifications

• You have a strong attention to detail with accountability for accuracy and efficiency
