Estimator Description

Our client is looking for an Estimator to add to their team in Plano, TX. You will be responsible for supporting the sales and construction teams through estimating functions. In this role, you will review plans and bid sets for public and private projects and complete proposals and bid requests. This position requires the ability to estimate jobs from the ground up, including municipal park spaces, grading, storm and sewer drainage, hardscapes, electrical, plumbing, landscaping, parking lots, amenity buildings, and more. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in commercial construction estimating. To be successful in this role, you must be a self-starter, with strong organizational skills and the ability to engage confidently with architects, contractors, and potential customers. Estimator Responsibilities

•    Support to the sales and construction teams through estimating functions 
•    Review plans and bid sets for public and private projects 
•    Complete proposals and bid request for public and private projects 
•    Estimate jobs from the ground up, from municipal park spaces to amenity buildings
•    Consistently produce high-quality, accurate work 
•    Meet with architects, contractors, and customers
•    Prioritize excellent customer service with quick response times
•    Visit sites to assist with layouts and design as needed
•    Actively contribute to achieving company goals

Estimator Qualifications

•    2+ years of commercial construction estimating experience required
•    Ability to source pricing from multiple vendors and manufacturers required 
•    Proficiency with AutoCAD and Bluebeam or other equivalent take-off programs required
•    Strong technical and mechanical aptitude required
•    Excellent written and verbal communications skills required
•    Great organizational skills and attention to detail required
