Our Client is seeking an experienced Estimator – Division 10 to join their Pre-Construction team in Palmetto, FL. If you have an eye for detail while maintaining the accuracy of your work, our client has a place for you!

About Our Client

Our client is a growing company performing construction services across the Southeastern and Mid-Atlantic states to New England. The company has nearly 65 years of experience in drywall, masonry, concrete/masonry restoration, structural strengthening and building envelope restoration, doors/frames/hardware (Div 8), and specialties (Div 10).

Primary Responsibilities

1. Interpret plans and specifications to prepare written proposals for bids and proposals


2. Possess knowledge of local material, labor, and equipment costs


3. Maintain an understanding of all local, city, and state building codes in assigned locations


4. Manage and train project engineers and assistant project estimators to ensure proper growth within the organization


5. Continuously develop and improve knowledge of all product lines, including drywall, acoustical, doors/frames/hardware (Div 8), and specialties (Div 10)

Position Requirements

Education and Experience:

1. B.S. degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, finance, or accounting is preferred


2. Assistant Estimator with 2 years of experience or 5–7 years of overall experience
