Youngstown, Ohio - JOB 24-00300Salary Range: $70k - $90k
Permanent Position with Benefits.Youngstown, Ohio manufacturer is seeking to hire an experienced Estimator for the machining, metal fabrication, and welding industry
REQUIREMENTS- High School graduate (Associate or Bachelor degree is a plus)
- 2+ years' experience estimating for the machining, metal fabrication, and welding industry
- Calculate cost estimates for: labor (production time and man-hours required), material and time requirements related to proposals, blueprints, and engineering drawings
- Maintains current production labor rates and material cost data
- Exceptional verbal & written communication skills to maintain relationships with suppliers
- Ability to interpret customer drawings and specs from a variety of industries to incorporate into a detailed quote
- Experience reading and interpreting blue prints, engineering drawings, mechanical drawings and GD&T interpretation
- Experience as a CNC Machinist and /or Welder/Fitter is preferred
- Knowledge with Job Quote Tool, Docuware, JobScope & JS Reports, & Quote Log preferred
