Located just outside D.C. with work across the DMV Metro, this company is hiring a full time/permanent position with an established General Contractor with projects spanning across Commercial, Federal, State, Municipal, Healthcare, etc. They have had consistent growth over the last 10 years, so they are currently hiring for an experienced Estimator.
What You Need for this Position
- 3+ years experience as a Construction Estimator
- Experience at a General Contracting company
- Excellent planning and problem-solving skills
- Experience on any of the following projects: Multi-Family, Commercial, renovations, tenant improvements
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Applied Science, Civil Engineering (or related) is a plus but not required
What You Will Be Doing
- Own the Estimating process on projects (Budgets, timelines, planning, etc.)
- Ensure bidding, subcontractors, and requirements
- Maintain a thorough understanding of contract documents and subcontracts
