Job Description - Estimator Reconstruction and Remodeling

We are a general contractor that provides personalized and professional home restoration services in San Diego County. We are committed to delivering unsurpassed service that promises our clients complete satisfaction.

Position Overview
We have an opportunity for a full time position for an Estimator/Assessor whom has significant knowledge of Xactimate; who specializes in writing scopes of work after visiting homes that have had water damage.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Xactimate knowledge required

Write scopes of work for repairs that need to be performed to bring home back to pre-loss condition

Prior home remodeling experience is REQUIRED

Meet with customer to SELL/SIGN and discuss all factors of the job

Maintain frequent communication and settle claims with insurance companies

Maintain frequent communication with the customer throughout the job. Communicates with the customer in person, by phone, or email.

Meets with owner to discuss scope, potential problems, decisions made by the customers, and any changes made at job site

An estimator that has relationships with other subcontractors or vendors in the industry that you can bring aboard that you trust and now that does great work would be highly beneficial

Must be self motivated, and goal oriented with a drive for success

Strong communication, organizational skills and a team player

PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods of driving and sitting

Be able to walk stairs (if applicable), bend and squat low

Able to move and/or lift up to fifty pounds

Must pass background check

Must have valid drivers license - license check to occur

Must pass fit-to-duty test at Concentra

AREAS WE SERVICE
We service all of San Diego County.

WAGES AND OTHER BONUSES

Full time position - Salary of $60,000-$72,000 annually (DOE)

Eligible for Commission after probationary period

Company vehicle to be used for business purposes

Eligible for Medical Benefits upon enrollment period

Eligible for Retirement upon enrollment period
