Estimator - Urgent

Employbridge Search Group is currently conducting a search for an Estimator in the El Cajon CA area. Be part of a company who is experiencing growth and looking for an estimator to join their well-established corporation providing engineering services to residential, commercial and public work projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare, deliver cost estimates and bids for projects including electric, communication, gas systems (both distribution and transmission), sewer water and storm drain in the construction, public and private business sectors
• Estimate costs for wet and dry utilities projects, which could include electric, communications, gas systems, sewer water and storm drain
• Perform assessments for asphalt paving, concrete, and related civil infrastructure
• Manage the full estimating and bidding process for wet and dry utilities across residential, commercial, public work projects
• Manage projects from initial estimate to completion
• Bid on multimillion-dollar projects ensuring competitive proposals
• Coordination and collaboration with cross-function teams to ensure project objectives and timelines are achieved
• Subject matter expert on industry trends to enhance methodologies and estimation accuracy

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Estimating experience with small to large residential, commercial and public works projects
• Strong understanding and knowledge of estimating in wet or dry utilities, including electric, communications, gas systems, sewer water, storm drain, asphalt paving and concrete
• Civil infrastructure and underground utilities experience required
• Management of full project life cycle, from bidding to project completion
• Strong analytical skills, program-solving, project management, and organizational skills
• In accordance with California laws, the salary for this position starts at $110,000/year plus. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience, industry standard and education
