ETCH - Technical Configuration Management (TCM)

Key Responsibilities: \n\u2022 Manage and maintain product configurations in alignment with customer specifications and internal standards. \n\u2022 Function as the primary interface for Sales / Account Teams for configuration requests and issue resolution. \n\u2022 Collaborate with Sales, Business Management, Product Line Management, and Engineering to validate and maintain accurate customer order configurations. \n\u2022 Support configuration-related project activities, including planning, tracking, and providing input to execution of configuration freeze and validation. \n\u2022 Participate in New Product Integration (NPI) and Continuous Improvement Processes (CIP) to ensure configuration readiness and consistency over time. \nRequired Skills: \n\u2022 Proficiency in configuration management tools and processes, including Product Architecture, BOM management, Engineering changes, and Configuration Accuracy discussions. \n\u2022 Ability to work across multiple functions including Product Line Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Management, and Sales to align configuration requirements and resolve configuration-related issues. \n\u2022 Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage shifting priorities. \n\u2022 Cross-regional collaboration and experience in matrix organizations are essential. \n\u2022 Experience in customer-facing roles or account support, with the ability to translate customer requirements into actionable configuration plans. \n\u2022 Demonstrated capability in technical project management, including planning, tracking, and executing configuration milestones. \n\u2022 Ability to manage complex configuration histories and ensure traceability across multiple product revisions and customer engagements. \n\u2022 Strong analytical and critical thinking skills \nPreferred skills \n\u2022 Familiarity with business unit operations and product line strategy, enabling alignment of configuration activities with broader business goals. \n\u2022 Understanding of product lifecycle processes and sustaining engineering practices \nQualifications \n\u2022 Solid foundation in Engineering (mechanical, electrical, systems, process) with direct experience in semiconductor equipment design, manufacturing, field installation, or maintenance and support \n\u2022 More than seven years of semiconductor manufacturing or semiconductor equipment industry experience with a blend of technical depth and operational execution. \nThe role requires always understanding and following Applied Materials\u2019 Global Standards of Business Conduct.
