Job Description - Ethos Wellness - Program Director/Coordinator Children & Adolescent Services
Ethos Wellness is seeking a dynamic and compassionate Program Director/Coordinator of Children and Adolescent Services to join our team. This role will oversee the development and delivery of comprehensive outpatient services designed to support long-term healing and resilience in children, adolescents, and their families. This position will report directly to the Executive Director.
About Us: Ethos Wellness provides outpatient services rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Children (DBT-C), enhanced by diverse therapeutic modalities including psychoeducation, skills-based groups, experiential interventions, and recovery concepts. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to fostering connection, empowerment, and lasting change through high-quality mental health care.
Work Schedule:Monday to Friday, Full-Time, Evenings required (*based on group schedules/availability for crisis management)
Key Responsibilities:
Program Oversight & Development
Lead, manage, and expand child and adolescent programming, including DBT-C groups, play therapy groups, and Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)
Drive program innovation aligned with clinical best practices and community needs
Coordinate with the Ethos Wellness Testing Team to integrate assessment-informed treatment plans
Leadership & Supervision
Recruit, hire, and support high-quality clinical staff and interns
Provide regular supervision and case consultation to team members, including master's-level interns and fellows through the Ethos Training Institute
Oversee management of team members and patients, including coverage planning, time-off tracking, audit of clinical charts and documentation, and facilitation of team staffings
Facilitate internal trainings and participate in speaking engagements on relevant clinical topics
Clinical Services
Maintain a part-time clinical caseload (12–15 direct service hours/week) to stay engaged with client care
Provide individual, family, and group therapy as appropriate
Community Engagement
Build and sustain relationships with community partners, referral sources, and school professionals
Represent Ethos Wellness in outreach and collaborative efforts to strengthen community connections
Operations & Compliance
Assist with policy development, implementation, and quality assurance
Ensure all services comply with state regulations and ethical guidelines
Participate in strategic planning and growth of service offerings
Qualifications:
Current licensure in Texas as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT
Strong Clinical Background in child and adolescent mental health, including play therapy
Experience providing group therapy, particularly DBT or DBT-C, strongly preferred
Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative leader
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Afternoon and evening availability required to support after-school programming
