Job Summary

The Evening Duty Manager reports to the Operations Manager and is accountable to him or her in all respects for the safe and productive running of the Resort.  He or She works closely with the General and Operations Managers in coordinating the functions of all Departments to ensure the smooth operations of the hotel. The Evening Duty/Night Manager completes a series of checks to ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards established by the Company and Government Health Officials.  The Evening Duty/Night Manager ensures and assist proper closing down the night operation and contributing to the following day orderly beginning. 

Job Requirements:

The following are primary responsibilities but not limited:

• Manager on duty ensures that the Grounds are always clean, lawn well-manicured, plant are attractive and areas free of litter and debris.


• Manger on Duty ensures that Security personnel are always alert and assist with ensuring that all is done with the safety of guests, staff and property in mind.


• Manager on duty for the night operation during the absence of the General Manager and Operations Manager


• Keeping the General Manager and Operations Manager up to date regarding any emergency situation, incident and accident occurrences


• Promptly report any matter of concern to the Management Team


• Ensuring the consistent, smooth, tranquil and safe running of the hotel's operations 
  


• Ensuring guest and staff safety during shift


• Ensuring that all guests are comfortably and securely accommodated


• Following up at all times to ensure the standards of departments and the hotel.


• Handling guests complaints and provides excellent customer service


• Supporting and directing accordingly the work carried out by the employees while on duty.


• Looking after the wellbeing of the night team while on duty.


• Preparing reports for Management review

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications and experiences:

• Minimum Associate Degree in Tourism Hospitality Management or Business Administration or a related discipline. 


• A minimum of 3 years as a Manager in a hospitality environment or similar capacity


• Experience with management of guest complaints


• Knowledge of Front Office and Hotel Operation


• Worked in the security industry before would be an asset
