Shifts: 2nd Shift (Evening)
Hours: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our team on the evening shift. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent based on performance. The successful candidate will oversee pharmacy operations during the evening, ensuring efficient workflow and strict compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise Pharmacy Staff: Manage pharmacy technicians and data entry clerks to ensure accurate data entry, seamless workflow, and secure operations within the pharmacy area. Ensure adherence to delivery schedules and oversee ordering and prepacking activities.
• Medication Screening: Review all new medication orders to verify correct doses, check for potential drug interactions, allergies, and contraindications before dispensing.
• Controlled Substances Management: Assist in the ordering, handling, receiving, and documentation of controlled substances. Help maintain a perpetual inventory for Schedule II drugs, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements.
