Evening Shift Warehouse Lead

Capitol Group is a local, customer-focused company with nine branches strategically located to provide immediate access to inventory, pricing, and shipping status. Since 1946, Capitol Group has been a leading distributor of plumbing, HVAC, industrial/mechanical, and kitchen and bath products in Illinois and Missouri.

If you are Interested in the opportunity to work for a growing company that is family owned and respected, Capitol Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced team member to help oversee daily operations on the evening shift in our Litchfield distribution center. Being the team lead is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to ensure efficient inventory management, safety compliance, and smooth logistical processes.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, 10:00am - 7:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure accurate inventory control and proper documentation of all transactions

- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures

- Monitor equipment and supplies, coordinating maintenance and procurement as needed

- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies

- Lead and motivate warehouse staff to meet productivity and quality standards

- Train new staff and provide ongoing coaching to team members

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics management

- Strong team management and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities

- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks

Pay:

$26.60 per hour plus monthly bonus up to $1000
