Job Summary
Do you enjoy the process of planning and carrying out successful events? Are you passionate about providing fun experiences that make people want to return to a business again and again? If so, we want to meet you! We are looking for an Event Assistant to organize special events for The Weingarten. As the Event Assistant, you will serve as the host for weddings and events. You also will be responsible for setting up and tearing down events. The ideal candidate is outgoing, energetic, available nights and weekends, and willing to take initiative.

Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with management and the marketing director to plan events

  • Coordinate the event logistics

  • Set up and tear down the day of the event

  • Report to management regarding events, including recommended improvements

  • Answer event emails and assist the Event Manager with weekly tasks. 

  • Filing Event forms and sending contracts to clients via Square.


Qualifications

  • Outgoing, energetic personality

  • Ability to take the initiative on projects

  • Good organization skills and an eye for detail

  • Reliable with excellent time management
