Event Coordinator

Net Friends is hiring! 

We're looking for an Event Coordinator to own the planning, promotion, execution, and follow-up of all Net Friends marketing events. This role supports both new customer acquisition and cross-sell/upsell efforts with existing customers, while also managing event-related marketing funds (including MDF). 

YOUR ROLE AND LOCATION 

This position is an in-person role based in our Durham HQ, with local travel and occasional conference attendance. Core business hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm M-F. This position has a a salary range of $50,000 - $55,000. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO 

• Plan, organize, promote, and execute prospect and customer-focused events

• Own event logistics end-to-end (venues, vendors, registration, and on-site execution)

• Manage MDF and other event-related funding with vendors and distributors

• Track event outcomes and coordinate post-event follow-up with Marketing and Sales   

• Attend conferences, vendor events, and local business gatherings (Chamber events, local events in targeted verticals)

• Support the broader Marketing team with copy editing, design iteration, and social engagement

• Participate in marketing planning, task, and data-oriented meetings

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

• 0-3 years of experience in marketing, events, communication, or related fields

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Clear written and verbal communication   

• Comfort coordinating with vendors, partners, and internal teams   

• Willingness to work in-person and attend events as needed
