Event Promotions Assistant - Entry Level

We are currently hiring a hands-on and energetic Event Promotions Assistant to support the on-the-ground promotion and execution of our events. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in face-to-face interactions, enjoys being out in the community, and loves working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the promotion of upcoming events through in-person outreach, flyering, community networking, and local engagement

• Assist in planning and preparing for events including setup, signage, vendor coordination, and supply organization

• Distribute promotional materials at high-traffic locations, community centers, and local businesses

• Engage directly with the public to share event details and encourage participation

• Assist with registration and guest check-in at event venues, providing welcoming and helpful support to attendees

• Help with event setup and teardown, including arranging tables, banners, decorations, and AV equipment

• Coordinate with vendors, sponsors, and volunteers on-site to ensure events run smoothly and on schedule

• Provide general event support, assist guests, and help address questions or concerns during live events

• Participate in post-event wrap-up including packing, organizing materials, and collecting attendee feedback

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; current college students or recent graduates are welcome

• Previous experience in promotions, hospitality, customer service, or events is a plus but not required

• Strong people skills and a confident, outgoing personality

• Comfortable working on your feet, lifting event materials, and being active throughout the day

• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

• Dependable, professional, and able to work well in a team environment

• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules
