Position Summary

Citadel Security USA is bringing on Event Security Officers to support a range of assignments across the Denver area. Events vary in size and pace from smaller gatherings to larger, high-attendance venues so being adaptable and aware of your surroundings is important.
This is a hands-on role. You will spend most of your time on your feet, moving through the venue, keeping an eye on activity, and stepping in when something needs attention.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a visible presence throughout assigned areas
• Walk the venue and observe crowd movement and general conditions
• Assist at entrances with basic screening or bag checks when required
• Address minor issues or rule violations in a calm, professional way
• Stay alert for potential concerns and act early when possible
• Respond to incidents and notify supervisors when needed
• Offer assistance to guests and event staff as questions come up
• Write brief, clear notes on incidents or unusual situations

Minimum Qualifications

• Comfortable communicating with the public in a professional manner
• Able to stay composed in busy or fast-moving environments
• Willing to follow event instructions and site guidelines
• Reliable transportation for travel to different event locations
• Must meet Colorado requirements for unarmed security roles

Preferred Experience

• Previous event security or similar experience
• Familiarity with crowd control, access points, or screening processes
• Colorado Guard Card or ability to obtain one

Additional Details

• Hours depend on event scheduling and may change week to week
• Position involves standing and walking for most of the shift
• Consistent performance can lead to more event opportunities
