Event Set-Up

Description

Mintahoe, a Minneapolis-based event planning and catering company, seeks detail-oriented Event Set-Up candidates to join our team for the busy season. As an event set up employee, You'll assist in setting up events which is labor intensive in nature. Expect to lift heavy tables and chairs and other furniture. 

Responsibilities include arranging tables, chairs, decor, and equipment, ensuring smooth event flow, and cleaning up event spaces, including trash disposal, decoration takedown, space prep, and minor repairs.

This role also combines warehouse duties such as inventory handling, shipping/receiving, and order picking with the responsibility of delivering products to venues in a timely and professional manner. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-conscious, and has excellent driving and customer service skills.

Warehouse Responsibilities:

• Load and unload food equipment from vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
• Deliver products to venues on assigned routes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
• Verify delivery information, coordinate with Event Captain to ensure all event needs are met.
• Maintain delivery vehicle in clean, fueled, and safe operating condition.
• Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and cycle counts.
• Keep warehouse clean and organized according to safety guidelines.
• Comply with company procedures, traffic laws, and DOT regulations.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and culinary staff, and event staff to resolve any delivery issues.

Requirements

To apply, you must have transportation to travel to the various locations across the Twin Cities. There is mileage reimbursement available.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Experience as a delivery driver and/or warehouse associate preferred.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs regularly).
• Bend, stoop, and reach, 
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Good communicator and team player
• Must be able to obtain a DOT  certification.
• Must have a clean driving record.

No experience or certification necessary.
