Job Description - Events and Marketing Assistant - Urgent Hiring

Join our dynamic team at Famous Supply as the Marketing and Events Assistant! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in supporting the company’s strategic initiatives to increase brand awareness and company culture. Working closely with the Marketing Specialist, you'll assist in the planning, coordination, execution, and assessment of multiple events throughout the year. With a primary emphasis on corporate event coordination, you'll drive initiatives to ensure the seamless execution of events hosted by Famous Supply. If you're passionate about marketing, event planning, and making a significant impact, we'd love to have you on board!

Responsibilities:

· Assist in the execution of corporate events and regional tradeshows, including planning and attending multiple functions with the goal of creating a positive event experience for everyone involved

· Complete administrative pre- and post-event activities, including venue research, fundraising, scheduling, planning, registration tracking, setup, teardown, and post event reporting

· Create internal and external marketing communications regarding upcoming events

· Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of services and products

· Provide support and respond to general questions regarding upcoming events, functions, and meetings

· Represent Famous Supply in a positive manner in every interaction with customers, vendors, and associates through various communications – email, phone calls, virtual meetings, and in person interactions

· Performs general office duties and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· High school diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

· Minimum of 3 years of relevant event planning experience with ability to provide concrete examples

· Superior communication skills, including experience and comfort speaking in front of large groups

· Minimum of 1 year of experience with project management tools and an aptitude for learning new software

· Proficient in MS Office, including Access

· Motivated to meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced but rewarding environment

· Strong problem solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure

· Excellent organizational and time management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines

· Impeccable attention to detail
