Are you looking for an opportunity to advance your culinary career? We have an excellent opportunity for a Full Time Cook join our team! Our Cooks are an integral part of the Dining Services team, helping ensure our residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals. We look forward to learning more about you and how we can support your culinary success!

The days and hours are as follows:

Monday - Friday: 11am - 7pm

Our Cooks:

• Prepare assigned stations for shift.


• Under direction of lead cook/sous chef, prepare individual components of various entrees and food items, adhering to the individual dietary restrictions of residents.


• Maintain kitchen food safety and sanitary food handling in compliance with State, Federal,  and DSHS regulations.


• Complete other duties as assigned  

What you need to succeed!

• Prior experience as a cook/lead cook (1-2 years preferred) 


• Ability to prepare high quality food for our residents, Able to work Holidays and pre-planned events.


• Maintain professional relationships with food and equipment vendors.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and residents 


• Able to prepare therapeutic/modified diets.


• Successful completion of recognized food safety course.

Physical Requirements

•  The ability to push/pull/carry up to 30lbs


• Must possess a valid Washington State food handler's card


• Must be willing to obtain or have a valid CPR/First Aid certification
