Excel Center - Lead Teacher

• Master Schedule Development: Collaborate with the administration team to create and maintain the master schedule for the adult high school program.
• Standardized Testing Coordination: Coordinate the administration of standardized tests, ensuring smooth implementation and compliance with relevant guidelines.
• Curriculum Development & Implementation: Oversee the development, alignment, and delivery of curriculum that meets both academic and postsecondary goals for students.
• Teacher Observation & Evaluation: Observe and evaluate teachers to ensure instructional quality and adherence to program standards.
• Professional Development Coordination: Organize and facilitate ongoing professional development opportunities for staff to support continuous growth and effective teaching strategies.

• Education & Certification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field, including but not limited to education, administration, counseling, or teaching, and current Indiana Teaching Certification.
• Knowledge of Standards: Familiar with Indiana Academic Standards, Graduation Pathways, and 21st Century Skills.
• Differentiated Instruction: Ability to plan and deliver instruction that meets the diverse needs of students.
• Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Analyzes data and uses effective approaches to identify solutions and make informed decisions.
• Communication, Collaboration & Tech Proficiency: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to work effectively in teams, and proficiency in Google Suite, MS Office, and student information systems.
