MISSION
The mission of The PATH School is to provide a purpose-driven, culturally responsive learning environment that challenges scholars academically while supporting their social and emotional growth in order to develop conscientious citizens who transform their communities.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; appropriate licensure required, Master’s Degree preferred
Ability to build caring relationships with scholars and families
Strong work ethic and dedication to teaching
Engaging teaching style and effective classroom management
Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills
Passion for social justice and equity
Alignment with The PATH School's vision, mission, and goals
Experience working with diverse scholars and staff
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Lift up to 40 lbs
Work in a noisy environment
Availability for some nights as needed
Essential Functions
Build strong relationships with scholars, families, and school team members
Develop and teach curriculum aligned with school initiatives and best practices
Provide specialized instruction to scholars with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Assess scholar progress and adjust instructional techniques as needed
Develop and implement annual IEP plans
Collaborate with team members to develop instructional goals and strategies
Coordinate delivery of special education services
Use data to inform instruction and improve scholar outcomes
Integrate technology into instruction
Foster social and emotional growth of scholars
Prepare lesson plans and assessments
Manage scholar behavior and maintain discipline
Maintain accurate records and communicate regularly with scholars, colleagues, and parents
Additional Responsibilities
Stay current with educational trends and research
Participate in professional development activities
Contribute to a positive school culture and community
