About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in New Iberia, LA, for a travel position in home health care. This role offers the chance to provide high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their own homes, while experiencing the vibrant culture of Louisiana.
Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will:
- Perform thorough patient assessments and develop personalized care plans.
- Administer skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication management, and patient education.
- Collaborate closely with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient encounters and care provided.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Active RN license in the state of Louisiana.
- Minimum of 6 months experience in home health nursing.
- Proficiency in using HomeCare/HomeBase EMR system.
- Current BLS certification.
