Job Summary 
    
The office of Disability Services is seeking to fill a vacancy for an Executive Aide. The Executive Aide performs a variety of complex organizational, financial, and analytical tasks in addition to customer service related activities support of the department’s mission.

  • Act as first point of contact for the office providing basic information consistent with departmental policies and practices to students, parents, faculty and others.
  • Support faculty, staff and departments in the understanding and implementation of student specific accommodations.
  • Supervise daily financial matters including creating purchase orders, receipting purchases and generating monthly financial status reports. Assist Director in developing annual budgetary projections. Maintain all relevant budgetary documentation and records.
  • Monitor and maintain office inventory of supplies and initiates ordering as needed.
  • Manage the departmental calendar including use of the department specific database to confirm appointments as well as cancel and reschedule appointments.
  • Perform standard to moderately complex research to support departmental reports.
  • Oversee the selection, hiring, training and daily activities of Federal Work Study (FWS) and Advanced Placement Scholarship (APS) students.

  • Ability to develop effective work relationships
  • Ability to work independently
  • Familiarity and comfort with commonly used computer applications
  • Skill in effective communication including use of business English
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks for position work and departmental work

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two years relevant experience preferred.
