Position Description Siembra Leadership High School is searching for an experienced part-time Executive Assistant to support the Director, Student Support. The successful applicant will be expected to work an average of 32 hours per week with the possibility of this role growing into a full-time, 40 hour per week role. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with exceptional communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. This person should have experience working in an office environment, performing administrative duties, and providing support to a senior leader. In addition, they should see value in our mission and want to be a part of our journey. Job Duties
Provide administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the director’s behalf.
Organize meetings, including scheduling, sending reminders, and organizing catering when necessary.
Manage the executive’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters.
Run and house all data reports related to students; implement a cohesive digital file organization system.
Work with other departments across the school and coordinate meetings or aligned efforts.
Reach out to students’ families to coordinate family meetings with staff.
Manage travel logistics and activities, including accommodations, transportation, and meals.
Provide administrative and office support, such as typing, dictation, spreadsheet creation, and maintenance of filing system and contacts database.
Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials.
Organize any team communications and plan events, both internal and off-site.
Requirements +Qualifications
3 or more years of experience in an administrative role supporting a senior leader
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong time-management skills and an ability to organize and coordinate multiple concurrent projects
Proficiency with office productivity tools and an aptitude for learning new software and systems
Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and unafraid of challenges
Ability to maintain confidentiality of information related to the company and its employee
Bi-Lingual is a plus.
Position Details
Part-time position Monday-Friday, 32 hours; availability between 8-4 pm Mountain Time
Fully remote position, but local candidates are a plus
Position Compensation: $30-35 per hour
