DESCRIPTION

AWS Applications and Higher Level Abstractions (Apps) provides horizontal and industry vertical applications for business users with the same on-demand scalability, reliability, pay-as-you-go pricing, and machine learning expertise that drive AWS services. The AWS Applications group includes services such as Amazon Connect (a cost-effective cloud contact center), our End User Computing (including Amazon Workspaces, AppStream, etc.), Marketing Tech (Amazon Pinpoint), and Autonomous Checkout and Biometric Identity Services (Just Walk Out, Amazon One) for retail, sports, travel, and other verticals.

The AWS Physical Stores organization is looking for an Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting, and growing organization. We are looking for someone to support two Directors on our Physical Stores team.

This exciting role requires attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple critical requests. A high level of discretion in handling confidential information, professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is important, as is a good sense of humor. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to complete tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance and take effective action without having to know the total picture.





Key job responsibilities
- Manage complex calendar and scheduling requirements
- Provide seamless support to senior leaders using prioritization of business activities
- International and domestic travel coordination
- Organizing multiple events of all sizes throughout the year
- Have fun at work and help others do the same
- Work alongside other executive assistants within the org and throughout AWS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $59,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
