Timpano Hyde Park, a premier dining destination in Tampa’s vibrant Hyde Park Village, is seeking an Executive Chef to lead our culinary team. As part of Tavistock Restaurant Collection, Timpano blends modern Italian flavors with elevated hospitality, offering a dynamic and high-energy atmosphere.


About the Role:

As Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the overall culinary vision, execution, and leadership of our kitchen team. You will maintain the highest standards of quality, consistency, and creativity while driving operational excellence. This role requires a hands-on leader with a passion for scratch cooking, menu development, and team mentorship.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the culinary team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
  • Develop and execute seasonal menus with a focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Ensure consistency in food preparation, presentation, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, food cost, and labor management.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, training, and professional development.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, upscale restaurant.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Expertise in Italian cuisine and modern culinary techniques.
  • Exceptional organizational and financial acumen, including P&L responsibility.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
