We’re looking for an Executive Chef to lead our kitchen with excellence, passion, and precision. What You'll Do
Lead daily kitchen operations for Level 2 Steakhouse, overseeing food production, quality control, and presentation for all meal periods.
Champion an exceptional guest experience by upholding the restaurant’s high culinary standards and refining recipes, plating, and kitchen execution.
Create seasonal menus and feature specials that celebrate the finest ingredients, including our 28-day aged Certified Hereford Beef and globally sourced seafood.
Manage kitchen financials, including food cost control, labor management, and inventory systems.
Hire, train, coach, and inspire a high-performing culinary team, cultivating a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with front-of-house leaders to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
Ensure all safety, sanitation, and health standards are consistently maintained to exceed regulatory and brand requirements.
Oversee vendor relationships, purchasing, and product quality while upholding sustainability and sourcing standards.
Represent Level 2’s culinary voice in marketing, event planning, and leadership meetings.
Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.
What You Bring
At least 5 years of progressive culinary leadership experience in upscale or fine dining kitchens.
Proven experience managing steakhouse or high-volume à la carte kitchens.
Expert knowledge of modern cooking techniques, meat preparation, butchery, and seafood handling.
Strong leadership and people management skills with a focus on team development and accountability.
High level of organization, time management, and attention to detail.
Proficiency in kitchen financials including budgeting, food/labor cost control, and purchasing.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all departments.
ServSafe Food Manager certification (or ability to obtain upon hire).
